Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Ivo van de Grift, an individual based in the Netherlands, who operates PWM (Play With Me) (“PWM”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use PWM.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use PWM.
What PWM does
PWM helps you organise recreational sport matches (such as padel) with friends and groups: it manages invites, fills your match from your chosen players outward, and keeps everyone updated. PWM is a coordination tool — we are not a party to any match, booking, venue arrangement, or payment between you and anyone else.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google. You're responsible for keeping access to that sign-in secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us at support@playwithme.dev if you believe your account has been misused.
You agree that the information you provide (such as your display name and the sports you list) is accurate and not misleading, and that you won't impersonate anyone else.
Acceptable use & zero tolerance for objectionable content
PWM lets you add content others can see — most notably your display name and profile photo. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. By using PWM you agree that you will not upload, post, or share any content, or behave in any way, that is:
- sexually explicit, pornographic, or containing nudity;
- harassing, bullying, threatening, hateful, or that targets or demeans a person or group;
- violent, graphic, or that promotes self-harm or illegal acts;
- defamatory, deceptive, impersonating another person, or otherwise fraudulent;
- infringing on anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- spam, or otherwise abusive of other users or the service.
Reporting and enforcement. You can report objectionable content or behaviour from any user's profile (⋯ → Report) and block a user at any time. We review reports and will remove content and eject users who violate these Terms, at our discretion and without notice. We aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.
You are solely responsible for the content you provide. We don't endorse it, and content from other users is theirs, not ours.
Guests and Playtomic imports
PWM lets you add “guests” (name-only participants who aren't on the app) and import matches from public Playtomic share links. Only add someone or import their details if you have a legitimate reason to do so. If you are added this way and want to be removed, email privacy@playwithme.dev — see our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.
Suspending or ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app at Profile → Account → Delete account, which permanently erases your personal data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use PWM in a way that harms other users or the service.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
PWM is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that matches will fill. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, for any match, venue, booking, injury, or arrangement made through the app, or for any content provided by users.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to PWM is limited. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. When we make a material change we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
